Shalou 25SS draws inspiration from two independent films set in New York, Taxi Driver and Requiem for a Dream, blending personal experiences of moving to Tokyo, Taipei, and traveling through New York. Using cars as a narrative vehicle, the collection adopts a first-person perspective to navigate the city, exploring the obsessions and addictions encountered in the pursuit of dreams.
